FORMULA STUDENT
Turning Simulation Into Real-World Data
We support Formula Student teams with far more than components alone. Through strain gauging, load measurement, calibration, technical training and ongoing engineering mentorship, we help students understand what their car is really doing on track, validate their designs and develop practical measurement skills that extend well beyond the competition.
How We Support FS Teams
1/4 Bridge Strain Measurement
Measure real strain in existing components to validate FEA, understand load paths and compare simulation with on-car behaviour.
Full Bridge Load Measurement
Turn structural components into accurate load-measuring devices, giving teams direct force data from the car.
Instrumentation
Support with amplifiers, signal conditioning, data acquisition and integration into existing logging or CAN systems.
Calibration
Calibrate sensors and instrumented components so raw outputs can be converted into accurate, traceable engineering data.
Technical Mentoring
Ongoing support with measurement strategy, sensor selection, installation, troubleshooting and data interpretation throughout the season.
Trackside Testing
Support at track days to help teams capture meaningful measurements from the car, troubleshoot monitoring systems and improve data quality.
Academic Project Support
Support for major group projects and individual final-year projects, including experimental planning, technical review, data interpretation and guidance with reports or papers.
