Ultra-Miniature Amplifier

The IPA ultra-miniature amplifier is a compact, high-performance signal conditioner designed for integration within strain gauge and load cell installations where space is limited. Supplied in PCB format, it can be easily installed within sensors and other compact assemblies while providing stable and reliable signal conditioning.

The amplifier converts low-level mV/V strain gauge signals into a conditioned 0.5–4.5 V analogue output, allowing direct connection to common ECUs, control systems and data acquisition equipment. A three-wire connection ensures stable operation, while digital configuration via the OWI communication protocol enables setup and calibration to be performed over the signal wire without dismantling or removing protective coatings.

To improve measurement accuracy, the IPA supports multi-point linearisation, and configuration settings can be saved and restored to maintain calibration across installations or servicing.

With wide supply voltage compatibility and reliable operation across demanding temperature ranges, the IPA provides a robust and space-efficient signal conditioning solution for modern strain gauge and load cell applications.
