The IUA miniature universal amplifier is a compact, digitally configurable strain gauge and load cell signal conditioner designed for integration within load cells or installed in an inline housing where space is limited. Supplied in miniature PCB format, the IUA provides a flexible solution for converting low-level mV/V signals into industry-standard analogue outputs.


Designed for versatile system integration, the amplifier supports multiple configurable output options, including voltage and current formats, allowing it to interface easily with control systems, PLCs and data acquisition equipment. Stable three-wire measurement connections ensure reliable signal performance, while configuration and calibration can be carried out via the OWI communication interface, enabling adjustments without direct access to the installed unit.


To improve measurement accuracy across applications, the IUA supports multi-point linearisation, and configuration settings can be saved and restored to maintain consistent setup during servicing or replication across installations.


For applications requiring external installation, the amplifier is also available with an optional stainless-steel inline enclosure, capable of housing up to two IUA units while providing robust environmental protection for industrial use.
