PCM have their own in house design service to manufacture load cells to your requirements and dimensions. The service has been set up to gain maximum efficiency to enable to provide the quickest service without compromising on quality.

APPLICATIONS Covers virtually all industries. High and low temperature ranges. High and Low Capacity. Static and dynamic measurements. Instrumentation can also be supplied and calibrated to make a system.

PCM manufacture standard load cells including shear, column, pancake, bending, etc. Should a standard load cell not fit your exact requirements, we offer an in-house custom design service that can modify existing designs or complete new designs from the beginning without charging artificially high prices.

PCM can usually convert customer’s tools / parts into working load cells that fit directly in-situ without any modification to the machinery.

All the designs are undertaken as per our ISO9001:2000 accreditation. This assures the customer that if there is a repeat requirement in the future, we can refer to the original designs / calculations and performance data.

PCM design using CAD and FEA to enable unknown design methods to be tested before we proceed to manufacture. This enables PCM to minimise the cost to the customer and maximise productivity.

All load cells that are manufactured are supplied calibrated using PCM’s in-house test rigs.
